It’s around 3:30pm Indiana (USA) time. I am participating in a very relaxed way in Dewey’s 24-Hour Read-a-thon, which officially started at 7am here. Some 1700 people are doing the #Readathon from all over the planet, including some people who are reading in languages other than English. I blogged about my prep yesterday and about my beginning this morning and now I am blogging about completing my first book. (Yay!)
I am making a slow start to my first time participating in Dewey’s 24-hour Read-a-thon, I’m afraid. I woke up at 4am and 5am, but when the alarm I’d set for the 7am starting time sounded, I tapped it off and allowed myself to fall back asleep until 9:30am. My head was full of the live theater show I saw last night and my body wanted to let me spend more time with it.
A few years ago, I was a Cheerleader for a friend who was participating as a Reader in Dewey’s Read-a-Thon. This year (2015) I’m going to join Megan as a Reader along with hundreds (thousands?) of other people all over the world and read as much as I want to beginning at 7 a.m. Indianapolis time on Saturday, April 25.
